Our Story

I have spent over a decade working as a personal trainer, coaching women across a range of gym environments and training styles. Those years shaped a deep understanding of how women move, what they need from training, and what is often missing from traditional fitness spaces. We moved from Brighton to Cheshire in 2019.

I continued to work within traditional, strength-focused gym environments. While these spaces were functional, high-energy, and results-driven, they often lacked intention and consideration. Working within these settings highlighted a gap I couldn’t ignore. Spaces designed for performance alone frequently overlook the emotional and sensory experience of movement — particularly for women.

“Nolara was created to offer something different.”

As my experience evolved, so did my approach. I became increasingly focused on movement that balances strength with calm — training that feels intentional, supportive, and sustainable rather than rushed or performative.

Nolara Studio is the natural progression of that work. A space created through years of hands-on coaching, listening, and learning, designed for women who want more than a workout — a place where strength, mindful movement, and connection come together.
